May 2012

The burn in Coire nan Ceum, North Glen Sannox, has, over the millennia, sliced a dramatic 30 feet deep, narrow ravine through the granite bedrock. A wonderful place which, impressive as it is in this photograph, would, in spate conditions, be a truly magical place with its serrated backdrop of Caisteal Abhail and the Witch's Step - Isle of Arran, Inner Hebrides, Scotland.

Camera : Leica S2
Lens : Elmarit-S 30mm f2.8 Asph
Exposure : One 15th of a second at f13
ISO : 160
