Tinto Hill, Southern Uplands, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

This, to my mind is THE view from Tinto hill, the final point of the Southern Uplands before they give way to the central Scotland plain.
From just below the summit, on the edge of The Dimple, the eye is drawn south east, over Scaut Hill, to Todingill and Eastfield and onwards, over the river Clyde, as it curves its way around Tinto, to the rolling fells around the lovely villages of Coulter and Broughton.
