The final and severe throes of winter made my planned walk from Cowgill to the summit of Hudderstone an impossible task on account of the deep, drifting snow.
However, just before the light faded, from the top of Cowgill Rigg, I managed to take this shot of the deep trench of Cowgill, between Lamington Hill and Broad Hill, leading the eye to an illuminated Tinto Hill.
